Pre Golf Swing Stance

At the beginning, your legs are to be shoulder width apart. It is important to mention to keep your shoulders in alignment with target. Now slightly turn your left foot away from your left shoulder and keeping your right foot firmly in line with your right shoulder.Make sure you hold this stance at keep relaxed and natural all of the time. These tips so far may sound irrelevant, but it serve you greatly with your swing. Gripping the golf club properly

Another important aspect to consider to assist you stop your golf slice is the way you grip the club. Take your left hand and grip the club, making sure that your left thumb is running along the shaft and is in line with the clubface. Take your right hand and overlap your left hand ensuring that your right palm is covering your left thumb and also have your right thumb pointed along the shaft. Be aware of how firm your grip is. If you tend to grip too tight it is usually more likely that you would hook the to the left and if you are too loose with your grip you tend to slice the ball to the right.

 

Another efficient way in stopping golf slice is to make sure that your bottom hand which is your left hand is facing the target and have your right hand facing the opposite direction. It is important to keep training and staying consistent until this becomes second nature.
